at Carlmont Dental Care
At Carlmont Dental Care, we strive to treat each patient like a friend or family member. We deeply appreciate and treasure the trust you place in us when you bring your whole family to us. We enjoy the special bonding we develop with every family.
We value prevention & education in our family dentistry care. We strive to help patient develop lifelong oral hygiene habit that ensures healthy and beautiful smiles for years to come.
We strive to deliver the most unique dental exam experience for our patients. During an exam, we thoroughly conduct hard & soft tissue exams to look for cavities, gum disease, occlusal imbalance and oral pathology. In addition, we pride ourselves in always getting to know the patient as a whole instead of focusing solely on the oral cavity. We believe truly personalized quality dental care only is possible when we understand patients' personal goals, values & struggles.
Prevention is the core belief in our practice. We understand that dental cleaning could be a boring or even dreadful thing for a lot of patients and we strive to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
We use gentle & effective ultrasonic scalers to gently remove plaque, calculus and stubborn stains.
During the visit, patient has multiple choices for entertainment such as Netflix, YouTube Videos, Spotify music etc.

Periodontal disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in the United States. Periodontal disease is the result of an infection in the gum and the surrounding bone around the teeth.
Often times, patient has little or no symptom when they're suffering from periodontal disease. At carlmont dental care, we take yearly X-rays and frequent gum measurement to makes sure we detect early sign of gum disease and stop the disease process by doing scaling and root planning to periodontal surgeries.
Bruxism (teeth grinding) is very common in our community because of the stressful and busy lifestyle of our patients. Left unattended, bruxism can lead to irreversible tooth loss from wear or fracture and TMJ clicking, pain or even locking. Many patients with bruxism tend to grind their teeth during sleep. A night guard acts as a barrier that protects your teeth and relaxes your muscle and joint.
Contact sports or sports with moving objects can be a very dangerous environment for your teeth. One extreme tackle or a ball hit into the mouth can do serious, sometimes permanent, damage to the jaw and mouth. If you participate in physical activities that put you at risk for dental trauma or injury, we strongly recommend a custom made sports mouthguard.
