Now accepting Medicare for dental procedures like Implants, surgery and Trauma

The cost of dental care could be a real challenge for a lot of families, especially for our seniors. Nearly 2/3 of Medicare enrollees have no separate dental insurance at all and more than 1/5 Medicare enrollees haven't seen a dentist in the last five years because of financial concerns. We're proud to announce that we're now a Medicare Certified Provider!

Does Medicare Cover any dental procedures?

According to Medicare's Website, "Medicare doesn't cover most dental care, dental procedures, or supplies, like cleanings, fillings, tooth extractions, dentures, dental plates, or other dental devices." However, there is certain exceptions.

Dr. Nancy Jiang of Carlmont Dental Care is a certified provider for Medicare Part B. As a result, Dr. Jiang can perform certain operations under the coverage of Medicare that are related to oral health. Since routine dental care is not covered by Medicare, it's not easy to determine if certain procedure is or isn't covered by Medicare. Coverage will be determined on a case-by-case basis after thorough evaluation by Dr. Jiang.
